Camila Garcia

Hi! My name is Camila Garcia, and I’m a rising sophomore in high school. I was inspired to start a chapter of Hearts for Healing in Brownsville after growing up in a community where poverty is a daily reality for many.

Seeing people struggle made me want to do something—no matter how small—to bring comfort and kindness into their lives. Through this organization, I hope to support my community by creating moments of kindness and connection for those who need it most.

I’m someone who loves connecting with others and bringing joy wherever I can. In my free time, you’ll usually find me reading, cooking, playing tennis, or spending time with friends.
